  • d'Esterre Seniors Centre Closure

  • Dear d'Esterre Senior Centre Members:

I hope this message finds you well and safe in these difficult times. I want to start by acknowledging the work of our coordinators in completing and submitting reopen plans for their given activity. We certainly appreciated the care taken to comply with WorkSafe BC rules and our own greater Centre reopen plan. Unfortunately, due to the rising numbers of COVID cases in the province, and indeed on Vancouver Island, the Board of d'Esterre Senior Centre has determined not to open at this time. See more.

  • COVID-19 Take-out Safety Plan

The d'Esterre House Seniors' Centre was officially opened on June 25, 1975 by Lieutenant-Governor Walter Owen. The core group of 10 Senior Citizens has now grown to a membership of over 800. Click here to learn more about our history.
